Our bodies need nutrients in order to function properly and remain healthy. There’s a slight distinction between those which our bodies need in very large quantities in order to meet its energy requirements ( macronutrients), and another which is extremely essential but our bodies only need very little of. Macronutrients include carbohydrates, proteins, and fats. On the other hand micronutrients are minerals, vitamins, and various plant compounds.
